I have smoked before that but I got my first cigarette pack at that age. It was a big thing for me – like you say ‘a coming of age’. That packet lasted me almost a week, I think I would die if I only had one packet for a week now!
Both of my parents smoked, so it was easy for me and my brother to start smoking, we would just steal a cigarette here and there and my parents, they would never noticed as they smoked quite a lot. When I was 14 I told my parents I smoked, they did not mind, everyone smokes. It was no big deal, my mother would often share her cigarettes with me. When I lived with my parents I would smoke about a pack a day, not very much. Now I’m smoking nearly two packs every day.
Sometimes I chain smoke doubles, like in this video here. Not many people in Spain do this, but it is not unusual. I’m more relaxed in this video here than never I was, though!”
